A night out and Aggie football

We have been busy lately preparing for Zoe, so we haven't had much for this blog. We did take a little time to go out on Halloween weekend and then the next weekend to College Station.

We had an evening at The Melting Pot. With as much as we like cheese would it be any wonder that we like a restaurant devoted to fondue?

Aggie Football games are always fun. (Somehow it seems a little more fun when they win!.) We usually get about one game per year; Suzanne is so cute in her Aggie outfit!

Day trip to New Braunfels

A little day trip to New Braunfels is always nice. Some relaxing in the river water.

We didn't have a water camera so no pictures of us at the water park, but we did go to Gruene to have dinner. It was a fun little get away for the evening.

New Doors

We finished putting the doors up. I'd like to thank my Dad for all the "help" putting up the door (he provided all the tools and did most of the work, I stood around and said "man that looks good.")

I think they turned out pretty good.

A good look at just the finished product.

This is the other set of doors that Eric helped put up, I think they turned out pretty good too. Now I've come to a blog quandary; I've started this new baby blog and I'm trying to decide exactly what all should go on that blog and what should stay on this one. For example the new doors were put up to enclose a baby play room should that go on our blog or the baby blog? If it goes on the baby blog and everything encompassing the baby (pregnancy photos and what not) goes on the baby blog there won't be much left on this one. However if none of that stuff goes on the baby blog then it will be 6 months before anything else goes there and that would just be boring.

I really enjoy a good game of risk. (p.s. I don't have to win to make it a good game, but it does make it more fun)

Don, Marcy, and Nick came over, Don just got a brand new risk board and needed to try it out.

The game came with new rules and new missions but we preferred to play the old way so we brought the cards and rule book from the old risk game we had laying around.

Time to play!

A very lovely evening we will have to do it again sometime soon!

Today in the world of Lang...

Well lets see I have some more pictures...

For her Birthday Suzanne went to spend some time with Kaylee.

Leila had her baby, a beautiful little girl named Addison.

Suzanne and I both got to hold her for a little while.

She got a couple of flowers too...

Out for a birthday dinner, dressed up all nice and cute.
I know those aren't the ones everyone wants to see...

So we are officially at 14 weeks now... We should know in the next couple of weeks if our child is a boy or a girl. (I think S/He look like me :) What do you think?)

Cruise Pictures

This past week we went on a cruise around the Caribbean (or is it Caribbean you decide)

Mom made the trip with us. She had never been on a cruise before and I think she had a pretty good time. As you can see in the picture the boat was called the Conquest.

We played a little mini golf on the top deck of the boat. It was pretty windy. It was the first time I ever made a hole in Zero. (I just put the ball down and the wind blew it right into the hole)

Our first stop was Jamaica, where we climbed the Dunn River Falls!

Also in Jamaica we played with the Dolphins, they really are quite amazing creatures.

Receiving a kiss from the Dolphin.

One for me too!

Next stop was Grand Cayman Island. There was a unique rock formation and a little town called Hell because of the rock formation. (They have their own little post office there, if you mail a postcard from there it will be stamped from Hell)

After Hell we went to the turtle farm, where they said they have about 15,000 turtles, some hatch lings, some babies, and some up to 100+ years old.

We got to hold the little 2 year old turtles.

They flapped their flippers pretty excitedly.

Approximately 1 mile off the coast (30 min by small boat) is the stingray sandbar.

The water looks like it could be pool water but we are in the middle of the ocean.

A little petting of the stingray, notice you hold him (or her) from the front, far away from the stinger in the back.

They are wild stingrays in the middle of the ocean so you want to be careful, but they are used to people because they get fed at this sandbar quite often. (It is Grand Cayman's most famous attraction.)

On to Cozumel where we did some shopping.

Finish off the trip with a nice Mexican Lunch

More Good Stuff

My dad and Eric, helped put up some new doors in our house.

The white doors in the background Eric helped put up separate the living room and dining room, and the Mahogany french doors are in the front entry way.

Finished product pictured to follow (when I get it finished :)) I still have the door casing and the handles to install.

Spring and Summer Pictures

I thought I'd put up some pictures of the last couple of months.

Memorial Day weekend we went to the beach in Corpus.

Suzanne and Jennifer hanging out by the fire.

Our "Small" "Controlled" fire on the beach.

Eric and Jennifer hanging out by the water.

Dave likes fire!

Look how cute this girl is!!! (Could I be more lucky)

A little beach time is always nice.

Hey look that's us!

We went to Jack's first birthday party.

Really Jack was having fun.

Mary came into town from Vegas so we had to go out.

A couple of cute girls.

After Suzanne's team banquet we went out because she was dressed all cute.

Mom came out with us!

Suzanne and Amber looking all pretty as usual.
