hey there ...have just stumbled onto your blog and am coming to Nigeria and staying at Ikeja in October ......can you tell me if i will be able to use a travelex / visa debit card there and or my visa at a bank to withdraw cash ???am on a holiday and will be there for about two weeks i just don't want to be having a lot of cash on me ....i know in Zambia it wasn't a problem ...thanx
Most everything here is done in cash. I have not once used my check card. You might be able to use a visa card at the bank?? But I haven’t tried. You also might be able to use you visa at major hotels but I have not stayed at a hotel so I’m not certain. Sorry for not being much help.
